Everything You Need to Know About DOTA 2 Battle Pass
The 2020 edition of Dota 2 International, the biggest annual tournament of the MOBA game, may have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID 19 outbreak, but Valve still has a fierce battle pass with new content that fans are sinking their pearly teeth into can. This year's Dota 2 International Pass has landed and brings a lot of new features and rewards to the game.
What is the Dota 2 Battle Pass?
For amateurs, the Dota 2 Battle Pass offers the players who buy it the opportunity to complete a variety of time-limited quests, challenges and game modes, as well as various in-game cosmetic rewards. By purchasing the first tier of the Battle Pass package, players can master the in-game challenges. With higher levels in the Battle Pass, you can unlock or buy more rewards. These range from dota 2 hero skins and accessories to language packs for announcements and menu adjustments.
Every Battle Pass that comes on the market brings something new to Dota 2. Some highlights of Battle Pass 2020 are the guild system, a battle gauntlet that gives rewards as long as you keep winning and a bounty system with the Battle Pass player you can mark enemies for death to get level rewards. Note that these features are only available to those who bought the TI 10 Battle Pass.
The International 10 Battle Pass is a tournament pass and contains a package for The International 2020. What does the Dota 2 Battle Pass cost?
This year's Dota 2 Battle Pass is available now and can be purchased on Steam or in the in-game client. The basic Battle Pass costs $ 9.99. A Level 50 bundle is available for $ 29.35 and a Level 100 bundle is available for $ 44.99. Players who purchase the Battle Pass receive rewards and bonuses in the game. The new Battle Pass also adds guilds to make team building easier.
How long does the Dota 2 Battle Pass last?
Usually, the Battle Pass takes about a week after TI ends before it closes, so fans can redeem the rewards a little longer after shutting down. Valve is unlikely to leave the Battle Pass longer than the usual three and a half months, but anything can happen during the current pandemic.
How can I give a Battle Pass to friends?
The International 10 (TI10) from Dota 2 has a new event called "The Gifts of Giving". At this event, players can be rewarded for giving Battle Pass and Bundles to their friends.
You must go to the in-game Battle Pass page to access the Battle Pass gift event. It is on the left side of your homepage. Once there, a button to give away a Battle Pass can be seen in the lower right corner. Select this to continue.
Select the package you want to give to your friends here. Note that you will be charged for this, but it's a great way to help a paying friend get the Battle Pass.
There are some restrictions when using the mobile authentication method to secure your Steam account. The largest is a 30-day real-time friendship with your friend's account. If this is not the case, your recipient will not appear in the gift list. However, if you don't use mobile authentication for your Steam account, you must be friends with that account for at least a year.
Is the Dota 2 Battle Pass worth it?
If you are a normal Dota 2 player, spend a lot of time playing this game and enjoy doing it in your free time, it is worth buying it. The basic Battle Pass only costs $ 9.99, which isn't a lot of money. It is valid until January 1, 2021, so it is worth investing in it.
Dota 2 Battle Pass Features
You can upgrade your guild as a team and collect some hard-earned goodies together. It is worth noting that only passport holders can create guilds, although anyone can join.
In addition to the guilds, the new combat pass in the form of a combat glove brings “an even more competitive variant of your daily dota experience”. Discard an entry ticket and score two game wins before losing two. You'll get a sweet reward: 1500 Battle Points, a Battle Tier upgrade and 200 Sideshop Gold.
There's also a new mode to try out - Nightsilver and Foulfell - which allows you to drive through a "moonlit forest" to hunt "exclusive item sets, combat points, and special tools" - and possibly access a second, hidden card: Foulfell, "where more wealth and dark horrors await you". Hmm.
But that's not all. Dota 2's international combat pass also includes a bounty killing feature, the Gift-a-Battle-Pass initiative, community game predictions, The Sideshop, immortal rewards, and a number of optimized and recurring features. Oh, and a big "special summer event" along the way. Phew. Check SSEGAMES here to learn more about dota 2 news and dota 2 skin trading.
